Sep 1 Foto Friday

Melissa and I love to go hiking. Unfortunately, we don't get out nearly as much as we would like!

This set of photos is from a hike back in August of 2014. We headed east toward Marion and drove north toward Mt Mitchell and ended up at two sets of waterfalls. Now, one of my favorite things to do is photograph waterfalls. I'll move around, take shots from different angles, but mostly play with exposure. I love to show the movement of the water with longer exposures.

The waterfalls we visited on this day were Roaring Fork Creek Falls and Setrock Creek Falls. Roaring Fork was a beautiful long cascade, but unfortunately, Setrock had very little flow, so there was not much going on in terms of photography.
